Sunny’s Shop is a well known restaurant in Prospect and with good reason. The menu is extensive with many Asian influenced dishes (though not authentic- better find another restaurant if you want authentic cuisine). Notable dishes included the ceviche- the kingfish was fresh and the sauce had a nice tang, cheeseburger spring rolls- unique and did have a good burger sauce inside, quite filling for a starter. The Peking duck pancakes were flavourful and the vegetables were not soft, still had a good crunch. The let down was definitely the garlic butter prawns. It was disappointing, with no presence of garlic whatsoever. The prawns were tasteless and just tasted like it was slathered in melted butter, would not get again. Despite this, other dishes came through, hence the high ranking as it could always have been an off day for the chef! The restaurant is loud due to how many people are seated each time, so if you are looking for a quiet ambient environment, do not go here. Service was lovely. Overall have been a few times and will continue to go back.

Even though the location is convenient, it doesn’t feel crowded, which makes it even more enjoyable. There’s a good variety of dishes to choose from, and the salt and pepper squid It’s perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and full of flavor with just the right amount of seasoning. It pairs really well with both tea and wine. Overall, Sunny Shop is a great spot to unwind, enjoy good food, and escape the busy crowds. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a cozy place with tasty dishes and a nice vibe
Absolutely an amazing place to be!! The food and service were both fantastic, and the atmosphere was perfect for a lovely night out with the family. My family and I have been here years ago and have come back whilst on holiday, and the whole experience is still amazing. Thank you to the lovely waiter that made our whole experience that much better. Highly recommend!!
This is the best Thai and Vietnamese restaurant I have ever tried . Ambience is so beautiful and cozy Restaurants will be crowded everyday so it’s better to book the table in prior , becos of the crowd food serving took long time . Food is delicious dumplings and pork roast is the must try . Over all it’s a good place to indulge Thai n Vietnamese food
Delicious food and presentation! Otherwise neither the Massaman curry nor the Char Koay teow noodles have any sort of chilli or spice in them, which was disappointing, but it was still yummy. Portions are reasonable. Just be aware the space inside is very cramped and has a loud atmosphere - we could barely hear each other talk, or even hear the wait staff. Table is tiny, barely fit our side plates, cutleries and glasses, not to say the food we ordered..
Awesome food with delicious fresh ingredients. Flavours are unlike anywhere with some key menu items like Burrata & Cheeseburger Spring Rolls. Amazing service with really attentive staff. We love it! The resturaunt itself is also gorgeously decorated. Highly recommend!
Wine Valley Tours taking guests to venues with confidence, we had the most amazing flavourful lunch yesterday, the quality and service is deserving of the best restaurant for this cuisine, healthy food with a great bar list of wines and other beverages. George Wine Valley Tours is adding a link to my website for our interstate and international guests to experience what South Australia can offer. All the best to the owners as they are a family owned business and I believe they have quality and service as the priority and as a bonus the interior is also perfect.
I just don’t think I will EVER get sick of these cheeseburger spring rolls I am so pleased that this new space just has so much room because everyone HAS to go here. The building is so beautiful, the menu is full of so many varied options, and the food is a whole other level of delicious. Even for lunch they have so many different salad/noodle bowl options so you can avoid that post-lunch dip. The burrata, the noodles, and the spring rolls are just so so good. So if you haven’t visited, you absolutely MUST!!
